ABOUT US

Learn more about who we are, our community engagement and answers to FAQ’s.

Soon after moving to Barrie from New Brunswick, and during the onset of a pandemic, we decided to pursue our aspirations of opening our own indoor batting cage facility. Although it was a huge undertaking at the time, our prospective business was needed in our community. Shortly after opening we were assured of just how vital a facility like ours was to baseball and softball in our area and the entire province.

After 2 years in operation, we outgrew our 5,000 square foot facility and expanded to 20,000 square feet. Our 3 batting cages turned into 6 batting cages, an indoor turfed field, a professional calibre bullpen and a HitTrax simulator lounge. We also welcomed a new partnership with Baseball 360 and added a full retail store to make our spot a one-stop-shop.

Without the unwavering support from our customers, partners, community, and family we would not be where we are today. We look forward to continuing our growth and can’t wait to see what is next for the Kage Krew!

Our Community Matters

It has always been an essential part of our business to be involved in our community. As a recreational establishment, many kids, adults, teams, and other groups rely on us to provide a safe and accessible space for them to train and play.

When we first opened during the pandemic our goal was to build a venue for our community to utilize for maintaining physical and mental health. Despite lockdowns and restrictions, it remained our focus to stay open and continue to provide our services.

It is important to us to participate in the baseball community by sponsoring various teams. Many teams and players train at our facility and we strive to be active in their organizations as well as their individual performances and achievements.

The Kage also hosts an annual holiday drive for the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie. Every year we have been fortunate to deliver a significant collection of donations to women and children in need and really love to contribute to such a worthy cause.
