About our High Performance Programs
Designed for players already at a high level or aiming to reach it, our high performance programs offer professional coaching. Building on the success of Max Velocity Pitching, we're excited to introduce the new High Performance Hitting Program.
2025-26 Max Velocity Pitching Program
Description:
Introducing our New and Improved Max Velocity Pitching Program, developed by California native JJ Rutherford—a former Toronto Blue Jays scout who also worked with the LA Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. We’ve partnered with DVS Baseball, founded by Los Angeles Dodgers first-round draft pick Justin Orenduff. Utilizing DVS X-Ray, this program provides instant biomechanical insights to help players improve mechanics, reduce injury risk, and build long-term success on the mound.
Throughout the program, players will receive three DVS reports, which assess injury risk and performance potential using the Delivery Value System—a medically published and statistically validated biomechanical analysis.
Players will also get to use our all-new Rapsodo 2.0 pro which captures their velocity, spin rates, spin direction, spin efficiency, release height, and vertical and horizontal break.
Time:
The program includes two 2-hour sessions per week, alternating between training with our High Performance pitching coaches (Including Dave Maxamenko, JJ Rutherford, and Chris Johannesson) and working in the gym with our certified strength coaches.
