The Kage Kobras offer an incredible opportunity for young athletes eager to take their baseball skills to the next level. With our all-new, year-round elite travel ball teams, players can expect an experience like no other. The program emphasizes not just skill development, but also personal growth and teamwork, fostering a supportive environment where players can thrive. Starting our Inaugural season in fall of 2025!!

Yearly Plan

As the season approaches, there is much excitement about the potential for growth and achievement. Whether it's competing in tournaments, honing skills in practice, or simply enjoying the camaraderie of being part of a team, The Kage Kobras are poised to provide an unforgettable experience for young baseball players. This program is more than just about the game; it’s about cultivating passion, skill, and lifelong memories on and off the field.

Fall Ball

  • 4 team practices (indoor) - 1x per week for 4 weeks

  • 3 team practices (on-field) - 1x per week for 3 weeks

  • 3 Inter squad games (on-field) - 1x per week for 3 weeks

  • 8 Games or 2 local tournaments

  • Gym membership @ The Kage

Winter Training

  • 72 team practices - 3x per week for 24 weeks

  • 48 hours in the gym with certified strength and conditioning coach -- 2X per week for 24 weeks, scheduled before or after practice (13U and older teams)

  • 24 hours of Study time with a tutor - 1X per week for 24 weeks (Offered before practice and is included but optional)

  • Monthly evaluations using our state-of-the-art HitTrax simulators

  • Gym membership @ The Kage

Season

  • 14 team practices (indoor) - 1x per week for 14 weeks

  • 14 team practices (on-field) - 1x per week for 14 weeks

  • 14 Inter squad games (on-field) 1x per week for 14 weeks

  • 7 hours of Study time with a tutor - 1X per week for 7 weeks (Offered before practice and is included but optional)

  • 20 Season games

  • Playoff weekend

  • 2 Local tournaments

  • 4 US tournaments

  • Gym membership @ The Kage

Rosters

  • 11U Teams will have 14 players

  • 12U Teams will have 14 players

  • 13U Teams will have 14 players

  • 14U Teams will have 14 players

  • 15U Teams will have 15 players

  • 16U Teams will have 16 players

We will have 6 teams in year 1, and adding 1 new team each year as each team moves up an age division every year! We are building teams from 11U to 16U for year 1. Players born from 2014 to 2010 (and 2009 players born after May 1) will be elidgible to tryout.

Dave Maxamenko

Dave Maxamenko holds the position of Director of Player Development and General Manager within our organization. From the very beginning, he has been an essential part of our team. His relentless dedication and effort are significant factors in our ability to offer young, talented athletes a chance to thrive in an exceptional program and environment. With an impressive background at The Kage and before joining us, Dave has spent the past four years successfully leading our Max Velocity Pitching Program, achieving extraordinary results each season. This program has become the premier pitching program in the province, with outcomes and statistics that are impressive.

While his expertise in pitching is noteworthy, Dave's knowledge encompasses hitting, fielding, and overall strategies. His coaching experience spans 15 years, during which he has led a 13U team to nationals and secured an OBA championship.Dave has played a pivotal role in the development of numerous players, including four who have gone on to compete at the Division 1 level and five who have continued their careers at junior colleges. His greatest strength lies in his ability to connect with every athlete, fostering their growth and development.

Currently, he serves as the head coach for one of our Warriors teams that will travel to Arizona over March break, further showcasing his commitment to the game and the players he supports. In 2023, he guided the 13U Kage Warriors to an impressive 8-0 record, clinching the spring championship tournament in Arizona!
